The Future of the Earth

The earth has become a shared home, rather than a collection of countries competing for power. There are no armies standing at borders. No tanks waiting in fields, no missiles hidden undergrounds, no warships patrolling the oceans. Borders still exist as geographic and cultural identities, but they are no longer lines of suspicions. At crossing, there are no intimidating checkpoints or armed guards. Visitors are welcomed by ordinary citizens and public-service workers who record arrivals simply to keep communities organized. People cross from one country to another with the same ease that people once travelled between neighboring cities. There is no reason to search anyone because there is no culture of violence t defend against.

Crimes Have Disappeared

Crimes no longer exist. Not because people are watched constantly, but because the conditions that once produced so much desperation, hatred, and violence have completely disappeared. Consequently, police departments no longer exist. Children grow up surrounded by security, affection, education, opportunity, and community. Nobody is abandoned because they cannot afford food, housing, healthcare, or education. Mental and emotional suffering is treated with compassion rather than shame. Anger had not disappeared because humans have stopped feeling emotions. rather, humanity has learned how to understand emotions without allowing them to become violence

Living Conditions

As humanity transformed its economic and technological systems, homelessness and joblessness have completely vanished. Every person has access to dignified housing and professional occupation. Everyone is now in possession of all necessary resources to live a fulfilling life.

All hard, dangerous, and physically exhausting manual labor have been completely automated, with advanced machines performing the tasks. Human workers now primarily supervise and maintain system. As productivity has increased, the traditional full-tile working day has been reduced to roughly four hour a day, leaving people with abundant time for their families and communities, sports and recreational activities, creative pursuits, learning, spiritual development, and simply enjoying life. Work is no longer a means to put food on the table or the center of human existence, but has become a meaningful contribution to society. People work to contribute, not to survive.

Main Takeaway

No book could ever contain the full description of such a world, but the most important question is simple: Would you want to line in it? If your answer is “yes”, then there is one thing to remember and work on every day: BECOME LESS AND LESS SELFISH.
